Acidic refractory for cement plant is mainly composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂), which has strong resistance to acidic slag erosion, but is easy to react with alkaline substances.
Features: Contains SiO₂≥93%, refractoriness is about 1670~1730℃, high load softening temperature (close to refractoriness), but poor thermal shock resistance.
Application: silica brick parts of glass melting furnace (less used in cement plants, occasionally seen in auxiliary equipment in acidic environment).
